Our hospital, residential and supported living services provide specialist support for individuals with Autistic Spectrum Conditions who are experiencing mental health issues, have a learning disability, a forensic history or demonstrating challenging needs.
Within Brookdale Care we employ a comprehensive team of clinicians including:
- Consultant Psychiatrists
- Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists
- Speech & Language Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Nurse Consultants
The clinicians work holistically with clients to provide assessment and treatment, confirmation of diagnosis and a review of medication as part of their person centred care and treatment plan. The client’s progress will be regularly reviewed through daily and weekly clinical meetings and via the CPA process and their plan and level of support adjusted accordingly. At Brookdale Care we provide a progressive care pathway that enables clients to receive continuity of care and stability through our services as their presentation and needs evolve.
If at any time a client experiences a mental health crisis they can be admitted to Milton Park Hospital to receive comprehensive clinical and therapeutic intervention. In the majority of cases we are able to hold the client’s residential bed for the duration of the client’s stay in hospital.

By working with your strategic alliances we can understand you commissioning intensions for 2011/2012 and work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for your autistic clients whilst achieving cost efficiencies for your authority.
We have a proven history of creating positive outcomes for clients who may have had numerous failed placements, and demonstrated challenging needs and unsupported mental health issues upon admission to our services. Using the CPA process we work collaboratively with the individual and their funding authority to achieve clinical effectiveness with the care placement and achieve positive outcomes for the individual within agreed timelines.
Brookdale Care provides specialist care placements for adults who require Secure Hospital Care, Locked Rehabilitation, Residential Care and Supported Living, without the premium costs and add-on usually associated with specialist services.
