Our Homes for High Functioning Autism & Aspergers

Our specialised High Functioning Autism (HFA) and Asperger’s Care Homes provide an opportunity for residents to further develop their independence skills and move towards our range of Supported Living options. Support in these homes will include assistance with the development of practical skills such as independent living, budgeting, food preparation, shopping and self care.  



Brookdale Care has developed close links with local colleges and universities enabling our residents to undertake further education and vocational training in areas that interest them.  We also recognise how important voluntary and paid employment is for our clients’ confidence, self worth and ability to live independently.  So we support our resident’s to access job training opportunities with Prospects (run by the National Autistic Society) and Connextions and support them with, writing a CV, completing Application Forms, Interview training and support their transportation to and from work.  

These homes provide a unique opportunity for residents to learn the skills and coping strategies that they need to progress onto Supported Living.
