Cranwell Court Opens its doors

The first residents have chosen their rooms as Cranwell Court is opened.
Cranwell Court is a 6 bedded care home for people with Autism who require a supportive environment with therapeutic input from Brookdale Care’s Multi Disciplinary team. This enables the residents to develop an understanding of their condition, develop coping strategies to reduce anxiety and challenging behaviour and learn independent living skills in a safe and homely setting.
Kate Houseago, Cranwell Court’s Registered Manager, says: ‘Cranwell Court has enabled patients within our hospital services to step down to a secure residential environment where they can still receive the specialist support they require. We hope that Cranwell Court will act as a launch pad for clients to develop the skills required to move on to supported living’.
