Brookdale to focus on Autism and Aspergers Services

Brookdale is to focus all future commitment and expertise into the care and management of adolescents and adults with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome with the launch of Milton Park as the first step in the mission to become ‘The first choice for Autism and Aspergers Services’.
Future developments are planned in the London Boroughs, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire which will strengthen the scope of services available to local authorities and PCTs. This enables Brookdale to offer a complete range of facilities for all individuals with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome from Single Service in a low secure facility at Milton Park, through to residential homes, bed sits and tenancies within local communities.
This commitment has resulted in the sale of Brookdale’s non ASD services, namely Aspen House, Potters Bar and Beech House, St Neots. Through a highly selective vetting procedure these homes have now be taken over as a going concern by another leading care provider.
