Abseil for Autism - Michael and Kaschif are Raising Money and Awareness for Autism!Published 29/04/2016
Michael and Kaschif are raising money for the National Autistic Society by abseiling for Autism. Michael and Kaschif will be abseiling over 200ft down Canary Wharf! Both Michael and Kaschif have decided to take up this challenge not only to push themselves to their limit but to also raise money and awareness for a great cause.
'As experienced staff working with people who have Autism we try our best support individuals every day. We encourage the people we support to try new things which they may never have tried before which can seem scary. We are hoping that by both of us pushing ourselves to try something completely new and facing our fears it may encourage the people we support to try new experiences in the future.’
‘We are not only collecting money for a great cause but we are also raising awareness and educating more people about Autism.’
This definitely is a great cause and all of Brookdale and Tracscare are behind Michael and Kaschif. The abseil will take place on the 14th May 2016 so anyone donations would be greatly appreciated!
