CW wins CCA' Art Competition

The Care Co-ordination Association ‘CCA’ runs an art competition for service users across the UK with mental health and learning disabilities. It has been running for 8 years now and each year there are many amazing artwork entries. Each year several winners are selected, the winners receive a certificate, £30.00 of art materials, a year’s
free subscription to ‘The Approach’ (CAA’ magazine) and also have their artwork advertised in the most recent magazine.

We are very proud to say that CW from Milton Park was one of 4 winners! We are so pleased for CW, we always knew CW was a brilliant artist but it is fantastic for him to get the external recognition he deserves which we are sure will help boost his confidence. His winning artwork was a piece called ‘Beach-huts by the Sea’. When CW found out he had won, he said, ‘I feel happy, glad and excited to win a prize. It’s good for me to have my work in the magazine - my mum will be proud of me. Art is lovely, it’s brilliant. I like it when people see my art and say ‘well done CW’. We want to say again how happy we are for CW and wish him a massive congratulations from everyone at Brookdale.
